I`m late!! I know.. A whole day! Gonna have to blame it on a friend though. Knowing that I`m only just trying to learn all this programming stuff he kinda decided I had to try to add something onto HIS site, which was totally different to cpanel...LOL
Pretty amazing that he would even trust me in there, but then again, it WAS just his "extra" folders... hehehe
Tell you what though, it did help a lot, even pushed me to figure out what was wrong with the slot ads manager, and I DID IT!!! And you know what that means, don`t you? Yep, you gotta spin it to win it! So get spinning guys, and I`ll do the drawing on Tuesday, ready for next weeks issue.
As it`s been so long since we had a drawing, I`m going to have to double the ads again, which means double the chances to win. Good Luck!
Seeing as none of you have owned up to hiding Rich yet, I`ve had to carry on learning, and bugging all my friends to make sure I`m doing things right. (Thanks guys, you KNOW who you are!)
Which leads me to the advice I`ve always given and always will do: If you want something: Ask For It! You might get a no, but then again, you might actually get a yes. Seriously, you`d be surprised at how many people are actually willing to help others, so long as they know what you need.
Hey, thanks for sending in the ideas for article topics. It might take a while, but I`ll see what I can do with them for you :~)
Enjoy Reading!
May you be happy and prosperous in everything you do!

Kindly sent in by Savage (Mr Motivator) Goose
During the fall, when you see Geese heading south for the winter
flying along in V formation, you might consider what science has
discovered about why they fly that way: As each bird flaps its wings,
it creates an uplift for the bird immediately following. By flying in
V formation, the whole flock adds at least 71% greater flying range
than if each bird flew on its own.
PEOPLE WHO SHARE A COMMON DIRECTION AND SENSE OF COMMUNITY CAN GET
WHERE THEY ARE GOING MORE QUICKLY AND EASILY BECAUSE THEY ARE
TRAVELING ON THE THRUST OF ONE ANOTHER.
When a goose falls out of formation, it suddenly feels the drag and
resistance of trying to go it alone and quickly gets back into
formation to take advantage of the lifting power of the bird
immediately in front of it.
IF WE HAVE AS MUCH SENSE AS A GOOSE, WE WILL STAY IN FORMATION WITH
THOSE WHO ARE HEADED THE SAME WAY WE ARE.
When the lead goose gets tired it rotates back into the wing
formation and another goose flies in the point position.
IT'S SENSIBLE TO TAKE TURNS WITH DEMANDING JOBS & LEADERSHIP. PEOPLE
(OR GEESE FLYING SOUTH) ARE INTERDEPENDENT ON EACH OTHER'S SKILLS,
CAPABILITIES, GIFTS, TALENTS & RESOURCES.
Geese honk from behind to encourage those up front to keep up their
speed.
WE NEED TO MAKE SURE OUR HONKING IS ENCOURAGING. THE POWER OF
ENCOURAGEMENT IS THE QUALITY OF HONKING WE SEEK.
Finally...and this is important...when a goose gets sick or is
wounded by gunshots, and falls out of formation, two other geese fall
out with that goose and follow it down to lend help and protection.
They stay with the fallen goose until it is able to fly, or until it
dies; and only then do they launch out on their own, or with another
formation, to catch up with their group.
IF WE HAVE THE SENSE OF A GOOSE, WE WILL STAND BY EACH OTHER LIKE
THAT!!!

Featured Article: Ten Cool Ways To Cut Costs
by Scott F. Geld
1. Barter
If you have a business you should be bartering goods
and services with other businesses. You should try to
trade for something before you buy it. Barter deals
usually require little or no money.
2. Network
Try networking your business with other businesses.
You could trade leads or mailing lists. This will cut
down on your marketing and advertising costs. You
may also try bartering goods and services with them.
3. Wholesale/Bulk
You'll save money buying your business supplies in
bulk quantities. You could get a membership at a
wholesale warehouse or buy them through a mail
order wholesaler. Buy the supplies you are always
running out of.
4. Free Stuff
You should try visiting the thousands of freebie sites
on the internet before buying your business supplies.
You can find free software, graphics, backgrounds,
online business services etc.
5. Borrow/Rent
Have you ever purchased business equipment you
only needed for a small period of time? You could
have just borrowed the equipment from someone
else or rented the equipment from a "rent-all" store.
6. Online/Offline Auctions
You can find lower prices on business supplies and
equipment at online and offline auctions. I'm not
saying all the time, but before you go pay retail for
these items try bidding on them first.
7. Plan Ahead
Make a list of business supplies or equipment you'll
need in the future. Keep an eye out for stores that
have big sales. Purchase the supplies when they go
on sale before you need them.
8. Used Stuff
If your business equipment and supplies don't need
to be new, buy them used. You can find used items
at yard and garage sales, used stores, used stuff
for sale message boards and newsgroups etc.
9. Negotiate
You should always try negotiate a lower price for
any business equipment or supplies. It doesn't hurt
to try. Pretend you are talking to a salesman at a car
lot.
